PostSubject: League Games - Liverpool vs Sturm Graz   17th December 2017, 6:08 pm

The 1st game was a tale of 2 halfs. Liverpool scored early and often jumping out to a 3-0 lead less than 30 minutes in. It would appear that the game was over before it started and if you werent convinced Liverpool would add a 4th goal making their lead an insurmountable 4 goal lead. That would ave been the case if Sturm Graz didnt have the heart of a lion. This game got way to close for comfort as the score went from 4-1 to 4-2 and then 4-3 thanks to a 90th minute strike. If this game went on any longer we would have witnessed a collapse of all collapses. Game 1 ended 4-3 in favour of the English side!!

Game 2 would switch to Anfield and this one was your more traditional low scoring game. Aranguiz continued his fine form scoring Liverpools 2 goals in this one while Forsberg would score for Sturm Graz. The Austrian side was extremely unlucky to walk away from these games with 0 points.

2 very well played games Joe!!
